Biography
Meron's journey in fashion and beauty started in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where she balanced nursing studies with fashion and creativity. After moving to the U.S., she attended Empire Beauty School in Boston to hone her skills in hair and makeup. She then relocated to New York City, where she's spent the last six years building a diverse portfolio, including editorial shoots, commercial projects, and special assignments.
Meron’s approach to beauty is holistic, drawing from trends, her Ethiopian heritage, travels, and diverse experiences. Fitness and travel are key parts of her life, providing inspiration and balance. As a creative professional, she works with top brands and creates her own content, aiming to inspire others by celebrating diversity and the blend of fashion, art, and culture.
Meron has had the pleasure working with photographers Liza Bird, Dave Krugman, Luciano Stofel, Boerumstudios, and Eric Hason. She has collaborated with Dermelect, Paireyewear, New York Models Direct, VNY Models, Identity and Awet.
